Ginger von Gisa is a striking looking 5 year old German Shepherd. Ginger came to the rescue after living with a large family with children of different ages. She is a confident girl who, like most Shepherds, can be a bit aloof at first but she responds well to encouraging words. Once she warms up to you, Ginger enjoys being outside with you and likes to play. On leash, she walks very well, rarely pulling, and meets other dogs politely. Ginger is house-trained and will find herself a comfy spot just to kick back. Around other dogs, Ginger does best with those who accept her confidence and give her space. With her puppy years behind her, Ginger will be a good fit for a family seeking more of an easy-going versus "get-up-and-go" dog. She just asks that you provide her with her favorite things: car rides to new adventures, stuffies to play with and a comfy dog bed that is all hers.
